Installing a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit
I recently completed the installation of a K&N filter on my 2000 Chevy Blazer. According to their dyno tests, it should be worth an extra 7 hp.
The installation was very simple and only required hand tools. The only permanent modification was a small hole that you have to drill in the lower portion of the radiator support. K&N provides well-written instructions with pictures for each step. Start to finish took about an hour.
I really like the way it looks and it does seem to accelerate faster. I would recommend one for any late model vehicle.
The original air box assembly was ugly and restrictive.
K&N includes everything you need.
The completed installation.
